Audi competes in a second race in Great Britain only 14 days after Timo Scheider’s victory at Brands Hatch in the Audi A4 DTM: The finale of the European based Le Mans Series (LMS) is held on 14 September at Silverstone where Audi Sport Team Joest still has chances of winning the title.
Audi designs do not need four wheels to inspire and delight crowds. For its stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007, the brand with the four rings has been honored with two iF awards from the renowned International Forum Design.
At the eighth DTM round at Brands Hatch, Audi celebrated their fourth win of the 2008 season. In unstable weather conditions Timo Scheider defended an extremely narrow lead against Mercedes driver Paul di Resta on the British circuit. In front of 26,800 spectators (throughout the weekend) Timo Scheider thus extended his leadership of the standings to nine points. Mattias Ekström shone with a brilliant recovery from seventh to third place.
