Every vehicle sporting the four-ring badge is built to last an extremely long life. This is the pledge that Audi makes to each of its customers and the significant responsibility it shares towards the environment. The concept of recycling consequently plays a central role in the areas of design and production.
The concept of recycling
Recycling and reutilisation enjoy a long tradition at Audi. A large proportion of production waste is therefore channelled back into the process cycle.
The same applies during the useful life of an Audi. Repeated use of a component or an assembly is the most valuable form of recycling. This takes place as part of the Audi reconditioned parts programme, for example, as a used spare with full guarantee. The scheme currently comprises some 10,000 Original Reconditioned Parts.
