Timo Bernhard hit the big time with Audi in 2010. The young sports car driver, who has already celebrated many class wins at the wheel of sport prototypes, claimed his first overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Audi. Europe’s largest automobile club acknowledged his performance at the year’s end: Bernhard was awarded the “ADAC Motorsport Personality of the Year 2010.”

In addition to circuit racing the 30-year-old professional is also keen on rallying: he contests selected national events with a private Porsche.

The man from Saarland lives with his wife Katharina in Dittweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate.
