André Lotterer won back the hearts of many European fans with second place at Le Mans last year. The German who races almost exclusively in Japan since 2003, impressed for the second consecutive time in the world’s toughest endurance race. He arrived at the Sarthe as newcomer in 2009. When a team mate withdrew just before the start he shared the cockpit of a privately entered Audi R10 TDITDISynonymous with muscular torque delivery and outstanding efficiency: TDI. Today, TDI engines are sporty, smooth and economical.TDI with only one other driver. His strong debut ended in seventh place. Audi signed the former Formula 1 test driver afterwards.
