FC Barcelona and AudiContinuous top performance
Europe's most successful football team is also practically unbeatable on the road. All the Barcelona players drive new Audi models to official events, training, and matches. Providing cars for the team is only one component of a partnership that was sealed by FC Barcelona and Audi in 2006.
Before the official vehicle handover for season 2010/11, Messi and his team-mates took a test-drive in the new Audi A1. Then the players, who are captained by Carles Puyol, took delivery of their cars. One vehicle was particularly highly rated by them: the Audi A7 Sportback was selected by several members of the team.
Audi and FC Barcelona have been partners since the 2006/2007 season. Players, trainers and officials drive vehicles from the sporty model range. In return Audi has a prominent presence at the home games in the famous Camp Nou stadium – Europe's biggest football stadium with almost 100,000 seats – as well as at joint promotions and events.
