The Audi Ladies CupGolf specially for the ladies
The idea of "golf specially for the ladies" at Audi first came into being over 15 years ago. A great many women golfers were immediately fascinated by this concept. The sustained high level of enthusiasm for the Ladies Cup in 2009 once again confirmed that the green has long since ceased to be a male preserve.
The Audi Ladies Cup has been staged in the form of a series since 1995. Last year, around 10,000 women golfers took part. The Audi Ladies Cup is played by the invitation of regional Audi dealers as a yearly eclectic competition: the players take to the green at their clubs at least six times over the summer months, and the best per-hole score goes towards the final score.
