A new design era
With the imposing Singleframe in octagonal design, the Audi Q8 is the new face of the Q family. The brawny radiator grille stands upright and, together with the spoiler that has been drawn toward the front and the large, highly contoured air inlets, emphasizes the self-confident look. The elegant roofline slopes gently into the D-pillars and rests against the quattro blisters above the wheel arches. A light strip connects the units at the rear.
Two high-resolution 10.1- and 8.6-inch HD touchscreens are integrated into the centre console seamlessly with an impressive level of detail to make every journey comfortable. The upper display provides access to the infotainment systems and the lower display provides access to air conditioning, comfort functions and text input. The haptic and acoustic feedback gives this state-of-the-art technology a very ‘real’ feel, while reducing the number of buttons and controls required in the cabin.
The HD Matrix LED headlights provide more precise, higher-resolution illumination of the road ahead without blinding other road users. Instantaneous and seamless, the systems can detect an on-coming vehicle and the intelligent system masks the appropriate light-emitting diodes in the other vehicle’s field – while still lighting the area around them.
quattro all-wheel drive
Audi is a pioneer in all-wheel drive technology, creating the revolutionary quattro all-wheel drive – a system that delivers superb handling and traction, while giving extra security and stability on wet or low friction surfaces. The purely mechanical centre differential transfers the forces to the front axle and rear axle at a ratio of 40:60 as standard. When required, it transfers the majority to the axle with the better traction.
